Explosion-Proof Electronic Seal
An explosion-proof electronic seal that replaces the plastic seal and lead plug on gas meters, flange valves and regulator cabinets. It has its own identity, reports over 4G and raises an alarm the moment its cable is cut without authorisation. Its Chinese national explosion-protection certificate lets it go on the equipment inside the fence, not only on the gate.
A seal that knows an authorised cut from a break-in
Sealing and unsealing are authorised from a phone, and the seal number, state, position and time land in the platform ledger on every operation.

Two kinds of cut
Unseal on the platform first, then cut: recorded as a normal cut. Cut without authorisation: recorded as an abnormal cut and alarmed at once.
Nothing to pick, nothing to open
No charging port and no keyway. The sealed case is part of both the IP67 rating and the explosion protection.
Readable without a phone
The on-body screen shows the current state with battery and signal icons, so an inspection round needs no tools and no app.
Reports on its own
A daily report at 08:00 with state, battery, position and signal. Any exception is uploaded straight away, without waiting for the window.
Survives a lost signal
The last 10 operations are stored on the seal and back-filled automatically once the network returns.
Certified for the equipment, not just the perimeter
Most electronic seals carry no explosion-protection certificate, which confines them to the gate, the yard and the truck. The 4G-LS-809 is certified as intrinsically safe equipment, so it can be fitted directly to the flange valve, the regulator cabinet, the meter and the valve pit, the points where tampering actually costs something.
Gas groups IIA to IIC cover hydrogen and acetylene atmospheres; T6 is the strictest temperature class. The rating is for Zone 2 only.

Sealing takes one person and no tools
Press the wake key, scan the QR code, thread the cable through the flange bolts, strip the coating from the end that goes in and push it home until the lock symbol appears. Then register the seal and upload a photo.
The whole cycle in forty-seven seconds
Recorded on a production unit, seal 01BFAC55DC1B. The platform records the final cut as normal, with no alarm raised: an authorised cut and a break-in are different events in the ledger.

The display reads unregistered. A seal not yet issued to a site does nothing at all.
2 · Sealed
Cable threaded and pushed home, the operation authorised from the app, and the lock symbol appears on the screen.
3 · Unsealed
Authorisation is given in the app first. Only then does the display change to electronically unsealed.
4 · Cut
Only then is the cable cut. Status: normal cut · online · no alarm · battery 95 %.

Frequently asked questions
Where can the 4G-LS-809 be installed?
In Zone 2 areas with gas groups IIA to IIC and temperature classes T1 to T6: gas network valves, regulator cabinets, meters, valve pits and station equipment. It is not rated for Zone 0 or Zone 1.
Is the explosion-protection certificate valid outside China?
It is a Chinese national certificate, issued under GB/T 3836, which adopts the IEC 60079 series. It is not a European or international-scheme certificate. Before ordering for a site outside China, check with your authority or client whether this certificate is accepted there; we can send a copy for that purpose.
How does the platform tell an authorised cut from tampering?
Unsealing is authorised on the platform first, and only then is the cable cut; the seal records that as a normal cut. A cable cut without that authorisation is recorded as an abnormal cut and alarmed immediately. The two are different records in the ledger.
How long does the battery last?
Standby is over 2 years on three ER14335M cells in parallel. How often the seal is operated and how many alarms it sends affect the real figure. There is no charging port: the sealed case is part of the explosion protection.
Does each seal need a SIM card?
Yes. The 4G-LS-809 reports on its own over 4G using MQTT, so each seal takes a SIM. Data can go to our hosted platform, which has no platform fee, or to your own system. See Platform & App.
Can you put our logo and numbering on it?
Yes. Your logo, seal numbers and QR codes are laser-marked free of charge at any quantity. Cable length and body colour can also be changed; a new housing starts at 1,000 pcs.
